About Me

I began my training as a counsellor and psychotherapist in 2000, when I completed an HND Diploma in Counselling, followed by a Professional Development Diploma in applied Psychotherapy. I then went on to study at the University of Southampton for a BA in Counselling in 2005 which I achieved with First Class Honours. In 2009 I qualified as a Counselling Supervisor studying with the Wessex Pastoral Foundation. I am currently studying for a Master's Degree in Mindfulness Based Approaches with the Centre of Mindfulness Research and Practice at the University of Bangor.

I have worked in Private Practice since 2002 and have also worked as a counsellor and supervisor in a number of organisations. I have particular experience of working with adolescents and young adults as well as individuals, couples and groups.

I am accredited by the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
